How this website handles information

A short, plain-language description of hawkeyeacct.com. This is not legal advice.

Last updated October 1, 2026.

This page describes how HawkEye Accounting and Tax (“HawkEye,” “we”) handles information collected through hawkeyeacct.com. It is not a contract, and it is not legal, tax, or compliance advice.

What we collect on this site

Contact form. If you send a message, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you include one, the topic you choose, and your message.

Booking. After you pay, Stripe opens a Google Calendar appointment page. Google receives the details you enter there, such as your name and the time you pick. We use that information to hold the appointment.

Payments. The Tax Assessment and the 1-Hour Consultation are paid on Stripe. Stripe processes the payment. HawkEye does not store your card number on this website.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used, in aggregate. It uses cookies and similar tools and records things like pages viewed, general location, device, and browser. Google handles IP addresses under its own policies. Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can turn off Google Analytics in your browser with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How we use information

We use contact and booking details to answer you and to provide the services you request. We use analytics to see which pages help people and to improve the site. We do not sell personal information.

Client tax information

Tax returns, workpapers, and other client records are not collected through this website. That information is handled under your engagement letter and HawkEye’s professional confidentiality obligations. IRS Circular 230 and IRC §7216 apply to tax return information. Those duties are separate from this website policy.

Third-party services

Google provides Analytics and the calendar pages used after payment. Stripe processes payments. An email service delivers contact-form messages to us. Those companies process information under their own privacy policies. We do not control their systems.

Data security

We use ordinary safeguards for the website and the form. No site can promise perfect security. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, or tax documents through the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
